2017 KIA Forte LX Manual

DEPENDABLE, LIGHTLY DRIVEN, NONSMOKER, SMART VALUE AWAITS! The 2017 Kia Forte LX continues to prove why it's remained a favorite among budget-conscious compact car shoppers, delivering genuine reliability and a surprisingly substantial feel for an entry-level sedan. This particular example stands out for its remarkably light use since new -- averaging under 3,000 miles a year -- and a 6-speed manual transmission that's becoming increasingly rare to find. Front-wheel drive keeps this Forte simple, efficient, and easy to live with day to day, without the added weight, complexity, or fuel penalty of an all-wheel-drive system this class of car rarely needs. WHY SHOPPERS BUY THIS MODEL The Forte has built its reputation on offering genuine substance at a budget-friendly price, giving buyers a cabin that feels more solid than its price point suggests and a driving experience that's drama-free and easy to trust. Buyers consistently point to Kia's strong reliability reputation, straightforward controls, and a 2.0-liter engine that delivers dependable, unfussy power for daily commuting. That combination of genuine value and low-stress ownership has kept the Forte a consistent favorite among first-time buyers and budget-minded shoppers who want a compact car that simply works. WARRANTY The odometer is hovering around the 24,668-mile mark, and the original factory warranty has expired. With an average of under 3,000 miles driven per year since new and a CARFAX history showing 11 service records, this Forte has clearly spent far more time in the garage than on the road -- a genuinely favorable sign for a compact car nearing a decade old. Extended service plans may be available to help provide additional peace of mind moving forward. STANDARD FEATURES LX trim keeps things straightforward and practical, with air conditioning, driver seat height adjustment, and 60/40 split-folding rear seats covering the everyday essentials. Bluetooth connectivity, a CD player, satellite radio, and iPod/USB and auxiliary inputs round out a genuinely usable infotainment setup for a base-trim compact sedan. MECHANICAL FEATURES Power comes from Kia's 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, producing 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque -- enough for confident, unfussy acceleration around town and on the highway alike. The standard 6-speed manual transmission adds a genuine layer of driver engagement that's increasingly hard to find in this class, appealing to enthusiasts and budget shoppers alike who still enjoy rowing their own gears. EXTERIOR FEATURES Finished in Clear White, this Forte wears a clean, understated look that's aged well and remains easy to keep looking sharp.
